1. The Promoters
This competition ("the Competition") is jointly promoted by the following three businesses (collectively referred to as "the Promoters"):
- Outdoor Film CIC 
- CalMac Ferries
- Arakin Limited trading as Otter's Tail
By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoters reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
 
2. The Prize
One winner will receive the following prize package ("the Prize"):
- Return ferry tickets for two adults and a car to Arran.
- An outdoor adventure experience for two with Otters Tail.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash alternative. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute any element of the Prize with one of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances beyond their control.
 
3. Eligibility
The Competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. The following are not eligible to enter:
- Employees, directors, officers, agents, or contractors of any of the Promoters or their associated companies, subsidiaries, or affiliates.
- Immediate family members (spouse, civil partner, parent, child, or sibling) of any of the above.
- Any person professionally connected with the organisation or administration of this Competition.
The Promoters reserve the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to disqualify anyone who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
 
4. How to Enter
To enter the Competition, participants must, during the Competition Period:
- Sign up to the Outdoor Film CIC newsletter
There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary. The Promoters are not responsible for entries lost, delayed, or misdirected due to technical issues.
 
5. Competition Period
The Competition opens at TBC and closes at TBC ("the Competition Period"). Entries received outside this period will not be accepted. The Promoters are not responsible for entries received after the closing time due to technical difficulties.
 
6. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Competition Period. The draw will take place on or around TBC.
The winner will be notified via email, within 24 hours of the draw. The winner must confirm acceptance of the Prize within 3 working days of notification. If the winner does not respond within this time, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoters reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
The winner's name may be published on the Promoters' social media platforms following the draw. By entering, participants consent to this. If the winner objects, they must notify the Promoters in writing prior to accepting the Prize.
 
7. Prize Conditions and Logistics
The outdoor activity is subject to availability and Otter's Tails booking terms. Ferry travel is subject to availability and CalMac booking terms. Travel to and from the ferry is not included and is the sole responsibility of the winner.
The Promoters strongly recommend the winner arrange appropriate travel and personal insurance prior to travel.
 
8. Social Media Platform Terms
This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including but not limited to Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or X Corp (X/Twitter). By entering, each entrant acknowledges that they are providing their information to the Promoters and not to any social media platform.
Entrants must comply with the applicable terms and conditions of the relevant social media platform when entering the Competition.
 
9. Publicity
The winner agrees that the Promoters may use their name, and any images or content related to their Prize experience for promotional purposes across social media and marketing channels, without additional payment. Any such use will be in accordance with the Promoters' respective privacy policies.

10. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal information provided by entrants will be used by the Promoters solely for the purpose of administering this Competition and awarding the Prize. All personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Entrants may request access to, or deletion of, their personal data at any time by contacting the relevant Promoter at the address below.
 
11. Disqualification
The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who submits a fraudulent or misleading entry; uses automated entry methods, bots, or similar technology; behaves in a manner considered inappropriate or contrary to the spirit of the Competition; or breaches the terms and conditions of the relevant social media platform.
 
12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoters shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any entrant or their guest in connection with this Competition or the Prize, except where such loss arises from the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoters. The Promoters accept no responsibility for technical failures, errors, or interruptions affecting social media platforms or entry systems.
 
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
 
14. General
The Promoters' decision on all matters relating to this Competition is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
