BORDERS IN RECOVERY
Borders in Recovery is a peer-led recovery community in the Scottish Borders. We provide welcoming spaces where people can connect, grow, and rebuild their lives through SMART Recovery groups, Recovery Cafés, training, and coaching. Led by people with lived experience, we focus on hope, belonging, and making sure no one falls through the gaps.
Room to be
Room to Be is a grassroots community group for LGBTQIA+ folk in Dundee that provides opportunities to grow, to create and to connect. We operate nomadically across trusted community gardens and hubs to provide safe get-togethers that foster a sense of belonging. We partner with the wider city growing and creative networks to strengthen allyship and collaboration. We are climate aware and wish to explore in more detail how we can approach climate action and social justice with queer thinking.
Adventure Oban
Adventure Oban is a community-led charity brought together by a shared love of the outdoors and the beautiful environment which we live in. We want everyone to enjoy equal access to Oban’s natural playground. We believe spending time in the water, out on the hills and generally outside is one of the best ways to keep our minds, body and community healthy - even more so when we do it together. Adventure Oban facilitates community activities and socials, skills training, access to equipment and partners with other local initiatives to remove barriers to access, increase participation and foster stewardship of our incredible environment.
