ÀBAN ADVENTURE LEARNING COMMUNITY

Àban exists to change lives through the power of outdoor adventure. They are a charity offering outdoor youth clubs for those who wouldn't otherwise get the opportunity.

Àban also operates Scotland's first outdoor charity shop on E-Bay and Vinted, as well as offering a free of charge gear library providing outdoor clothing and equipment for the youth clubs as well as individuals in the community.

Hebridean Pursuits

Hebridean Pursuits Outdoor Learning is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) and is an amalgamation of the work that Roses Charitable Trust and Hebridean Pursuits Ltd. have been delivering since 1992. Hebridean Pursuits Outdoor Learning helps young people grow, providing them the chance to achieve more than they thought possible, whatever their background.

BORDERS IN RECOVERY

Borders in Recovery is a peer-led recovery community in the Scottish Borders. We provide welcoming spaces where people can connect, grow, and rebuild their lives through SMART Recovery groups, Recovery Cafés, training, and coaching. Led by people with lived experience, we focus on hope, belonging, and making sure no one falls through the gaps.

The Alba Cross is a Scotland-based project connecting people to land through arts-led, place-based practice. It brings people together outdoors to listen, walk, make, and talk around questions of land, heritage, and belonging, creating open spaces for shared knowledge and connection.

Room to be

Room to Be is a grassroots community group for LGBTQIA+ folk in Dundee that provides opportunities to grow, to create and to connect. We operate nomadically across trusted community gardens and hubs to provide safe get-togethers that foster a sense of belonging. We partner with the wider city growing and creative networks to strengthen allyship and collaboration. We are climate aware and wish to explore in more detail how we can approach climate action and social justice with queer thinking.

Adventure Oban

Adventure Oban is a community-led charity brought together by a shared love of the outdoors and the beautiful environment which we live in. We want everyone to enjoy equal access to Oban’s natural playground. We believe spending time in the water, out on the hills and generally outside is one of the best ways to keep our minds, body and community healthy - even more so when we do it together.  Adventure Oban facilitates community activities and socials, skills training, access to equipment and partners with other local initiatives to remove barriers to access, increase participation and foster stewardship of our incredible environment.
